A description of the song on its website states: “Soldier On is about how friends and family try to connect with those heroes every hour, every day. Marching through the dark hours in to the joy of light, when you know they are still here, somewhere. Everywhere. You may resonate with the words in such a different way.”
Supporting the single is photographer Karen Massey, who took this image of singer Andrew with pupils at Myton School.
The single costs £1.29 and is available at: itunes.apple.com/gb/album/soldier-on-feat.-andrew-james/id794098162
