Pink runners in Leamington raise £840 for cancer charity
More than £840 was raised for Breast Cancer Campaign by runners and supporters at a special ‘pink’ Leamington Parkrun on Saturday, which saw a record 410 runners take to the course - plus many more early risers who ran the 5k loop two, three or four times.
Race director Susie Tawney, who organised the charity event, said: “I can’t believe how much we raised while having so much fun.”
