New Christmas lights for High Street in Kenilworth
Earlier this year, Kenilworth Town Council became aware that the Christmas Lights in the High Street had been damaged and were no longer working.
After discussions between the Town Council, Warwick District Council and the voluntary Kenilworth Christmas Illuminations Committee, the Town Council agreed to step in and contract a local firm, N S Booth Electrical, to remove and replace the lights.

They are placed safely in the trees and do not hang dangerously between them.
The town council has said: "We hope that residents and traders will continue to enjoy the tradition and welcoming feel of lights in our High Street.
"The work leaves Kenilworth as the only town in the district with two Christmas lights displays, both largely funded by taxpayers' money.
