Norman Jay MBE will play a set at the Clarendon in Clarendon Avenue on Saturday night.
The originator of Kiss FM, now known as Kiss 100, Jay rocked the UK with a ‘rare groove ‘ which has never been forgotten.

Hide AdHis hard work, consistency and excellence in profession was reflected when he was awarded for his “deejaying and services to music” with an MBE in 2002.
Norman is the main attraction at Notting Hill Carnival every year with his double decker Good Times bus.
He regularly headlines festivals in the UK and abroad including Bestvial, The Big Chill and The Southport Weekender
The event is expected to be very popular so people are advised to buy tickets in advance or to arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Hide AdExhibition pool player Steve Daking will host two events at the bar next month.
In 2003 Steve won the Professional 8 Ball Trickshot Championships televised on Sky TV - a title which he still holds today - and, more recently he was appointed head of coaching for the World Eightball Pool Federation, English Pool Association and Universities Pool Council.
On Tuesday October 9 from 8pm Steve will host an evening of challenges and trickshots.
And on Saturday 27th October Steve will be showing off one of his other celebrated skills - coaching.

Hide AdHe will be hosting a Pool Master Class from 1pm-5pm. Tickets are only £10 each.
The seminars will look at different aspects of the sport, from stance, to spin, shot selection and matchplay.
Also on the bill in the forthcoming weeks is the Jazz Spa: Clarendon Sessions which takes place on the third Tuesday of every month.
